The total number of visitors to Expo'99 exceeded 5 million August 11.
Since the opening of the Expo '99, travelers to the Garden and Yunnan Province has
increased in number continuously. The average daily number of visitors to the Exposition
Garden in May, June and July were 24,000, 29,000 and 53,000 respectively.
