Safety of Tourists to China Guaranteed

After US-led NATO's barbaric missile attack
on the Chinese Embassy in the capital of
Yugoslavia, Belgrade, the Clinton administration
and some NATO countries and their governments
headed by the US whipped up a drive to misguide
their nationals away from going on a tour of China.
They went to the length of telling lies warning of
possible "insecurities ofpersonal safety for foreign

accordingly a situation in which some tourists and tourist groups cancelled their plans or
even their reservations for making a tour to China.

     Under these circumstances, spokesman of the Chinese General Administration of
Tourism lately had publicly given a thorough refutation of those of Western falsehoods.
Hard facts tell that absolute personal safety of tourists has always been guaranteed
by the Chinese government and this is as has been proved by the experiences of a
great many of foreign tourists including those from the US and other NATO-related
countries now on a tour of China.
