Hua Lv: Humane community-based drug treatment gives me chance for sincere repentance

(Buyi nationality, born on Aug. 31, 1988 in Xiaowei Village, Duyun City, Qiannan Prefecture, secondary vocational school education background, Hua Lv was exposed to drugs in 2007 and started treatment in the community since Dec. 30, 2009. With the care and help from the people’s police of the police station, leaders in the community, and his family, Hua Lv strengthened the confidence in drug rehabilitation, actively participated in public welfare activities, and obtained qualified results in every round of urine test, successfully withdrew from drug addiction after two years’ recovery process. He now works in Guizhou Water Irrigation General Electric Company in Weng’an County, and has turned from a drug user to a self-reliant labor worker. I am grateful to the community and the public security departments for the chance of starting a new life. If it were only compulsory drug treatment, I would probably abandon myself to vice. But the humane drug rehabilitation project gives me the opportunity for sincere repentance, enhances my confidence in getting rid of drugs, brings me back from hell to earth, and allows me to re-experience the happiness, joy, and calm as an normal person!
