Yuan Shiming: Once stained by the drug demon, it will change your life

(Han nationality, born in February 1967 in Qunxing Village, Niuchang Town, Zhijin County, Bijie City, junior high school education background, Yuan Shiming was sent for forced isolation treatment in August 2005, and successfully got rid of addiction after half a year’s effort. In December 2005, he opened a slaughterhouse on the street of Niuchang Town with the help of family and the community-based drug rehabilitation staff.)

Thankful words

Through my experience as a former drug addicts, I know that the reason for contacting drugs is mostly out of curiosity, thrill-seeking, and disbelief that the drug can cause addiction. But once a person gets addicted to drugs, regardless of their education background or social status, they would use drugs desperately, unscrupulously, and recklessly.

As the saying goes, “detoxification is more difficult than climbing up the sky”, and “drug use in one day means drug treatment for ten years, and missing drugs for a lifetime; therefore never attempt in the first place.” Those who hear these words may not appreciate it as deep, but those who tell these words feel the pain and bitterness deep in the heart.

My own experience proves that once stained by the demon of drug, it will change your life, destroy your dignity, and twist off your convictions. Therefore, I sincerely warn all of you, my dear friends: For family harmony, social stability, and prosperity of our country, do not take the risk; please cherish your life and stay away from drugs!
