Chen Gang: I will do the best as I can to save and help these employees under drug treatment

Ethnic Han, born in June 1963, is the member of Chinese Communist Party, deputy secretary of Party Committee, secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission, and chairman of Labor Union; deputy director of Comprehensive Management Committee and director of Narcotics Control Commission of Guizhou Aluminum Factory, and the winner of National "May 1" Labor Medals, and Advanced Individual of Guizhou Province in Anti-Drug Works. Guizhou Aluminum Factory didn't push the drug addicts in the factory into the society, and up to August 2012, it has already provided job placement for 86 rehabilitated drug users.

As a state-owned enterprise, we should take both political responsibility and social responsibility in narcotics control work. I will do as best as I can to help and educate these rehabilitated employees, rather than push them into the society.

Feng Peixiu: for drug users under treatment, recognition is more important than salary

(Male, born on April 19, 1981, a native of Renhuai City, Zunyi, registered and established Feilong Electronics Factory at Nanbai Town, Zunyi County in 2007. Cooperated with the government of Zunyi County, Feng Peixiu established "Sunshine Feilong Electronics Factory" in Zunyi County in November 2011. Up to August 2012, job placement has been provided to 43 rehabilitated drug users in this factory.)

Thankful words

I can feel the confidence of the rehabilitated drug users working in the factory. They are looking forward to a regular life in the future. All that I can do is to love and care for them like their kinsfolks do, make them work hard and adapt to the new environment gradually, and get back their confidence and value. In fact, for drug users under treatment, recognition is more important than salary. More importantly, such comfort and recognition is like the light in the darkness, although not much, but enlightens their way to the future.

Ren Lixue:

Ethnic Han, born in 1974, is the legal person and manager of Xiaoguan Riverside Colliery in Hongguo Town, Pan County, Liupanshui City. Having made earnest efforts to promote public good and to help the poor, he has got good reputation among the public over the years, besides, he also made fund donation for the road construction of Xiaoguan Village. Now, he is known as provincial "Excellent Entrepreneur of Sunshine Project". Up to August 2012, Xiaoguan Riverside Colliery has successively provided job placement for 24 rehabilitated drug users.

I feel deeply regretted at the drug addicts' relapse; however, I also rethink profoundly on the relapse cause of the drug users who have faithfully promised to give up drug addiction thoroughly. Next, we'll actively respond to the government's summon on the "Sunshine Project". By learning the experience on emplacement and support to rehabilitated drug users from other enterprises, we will take our social responsibility to further implement every process of the anti-drug work, and to do our best to make the rehabilitated drug users working in our Colliery to get rid of the addiction fundamentally.

(Born on April 17, 1985, a native of Cangnan County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, started to do business after graduating from university, and have been engaging in costume production and processing ever since. In December 2011, he established "Sunshine Dacheng Apparel Co., Ltd” in Zhongshan District, Liupanshui City. Up to August 2012, the company has provided job placement for 37 rehabilitated drug users.)

As the generation after the 1980s, I was grown up in a well-off business family. Like my father, I started to do costume production and processing business after graduating from university. I happened to know the "Sunshine Project" - a sacred cause by chance, and I know doing business is not just for making money, but more importantly, rewarding the society. After working with this special group of people, I knew what they need is the consideration, understanding, help, and recognition from the society. I will do the best as I can to perform the glorious and sacred cause.

(Ethnic Han, born on April 8, 1962, established "Sunshine Tianyu Henghui Packing Co., Ltd." in Wudang District of Guiyang City in 2010. As the chairman, he has provided job placement for 22 rehabilitated drug users in his company up to August 2012.)

(Male, 37 years old, ethnic Buyi, Member of Chinese Communist Party, is the president of "Sunshine Seasons Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Cooperative" of Shuicheng County, Liupanshui City. Up to August 2012, he has provided job placement for 16 rehabilitated drug users.)

Wang Debin: All that I have done is part of my job

(Born in August 1970, graduated from college, Member of Chinese Communist Party, member of CPPCC, is the chairman and general manager of Guizhou Hongchishui Ecology Food Development Co., Ltd. established in 2005. Up to now, Wang Debin has successfully supported more than 100 entrepreneurs, and provided job placement for 700 people. He has worked actively to ease the burden of the government by providing job opportunities to laid-off workers, and has got good reputation among the public over the years. He was honored as Advanced Individual of Non-public Sectors of Economy in 2008, and Excellent Manager of Chishui City in 2009, Top 10 Outstanding Youth of Chishui City, Excellent Constructor of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in Zunyi City, and other honorary titles in the Fourth, Fifth, and Tenth Stars of Innovation in Guizhou Province. His company is also elected as Contract-keeping and Trustworthy Enterprise, as well as Enterprise with Harmonious Labor Relations of Zunyi City.
Since the launch of the "Sunshine Project", a community-based treatment/rehabilitation project, within the whole province in 2011, Wang Debin has established "Sunshine Job Placement Base" in Chishui City relying on Hongchishui Ecology Food Development Co., Ltd. under the cooperation of Chishui Municipal Government. The Base can provide job placement for more than 100 people, and up to now, it has accepted 62 community-based rehabilitated drug users, handicapped, and their family members.)

(Born in 1974, a native of Qianxi County, Bijie City, is the factory director of Guizhou Qiancheng Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. Up to August 2012, the factory have provided job placement for 80 rehabilitated drug users.

Previously, the words "drug taking” are something quite unfamiliar with me, until one day I went to the drug rehabilitation center with one of my friends to visit her family member under treatment, I came to understand the real meaning of drug addiction. I will never forget the sight of their miserable life condition. As the executive and director of the company, I have the responsibility and obligation to help them integrate into the company, the society, and start a brand new life. Chen Xiyi: I am willing to provide those rehabilitated drug users a platform as well as an opportunity to achieve social inclusion and live on their own

(50 years old, a native of Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, invested 20 million Yuan to establish Guizhou Anshun Runyuanjia Composite Material Co., Ltd. in Development Zone of Anshun City in 2009. He is now the general manager of the Company. It takes the production of various pipe fittings and other composite materials as main business. Its products have been widely used in various fields, including municipal road water supply and drainage construction, constructional engineering, food production, sewage construction in residential areas, and power cable sheaths. It started to accept community-based rehabilitated drug users since September last year, and it has provided job placement for accumulated 50 rehabilitated drug users.)
