A yurt serves as a kind of "mobile home" for Kazakh nomads, and some of them will have their interiors beautified with dazzling decorations. Kazakh embroidery, famous for its bright colors, is commonly adopted for use with rugs, quilts, and banners found inside the traditional yurts. This kind of ethnically-inspired embroidery can also be found on items of clothing as well as other ornaments and articles adopted for daily use.
