"Previously, we entered the US market as OEM. For the last years, we have been promoting the self-owned brands. We have established our sales company in the US long before but the real great growth began last year." Ouyang Jun, assistant of general manager of Gree Oversea Sales Company told reporter in the 111th Canton Fair that Gree had distributed its self-owned brand products in 88 countries and regions and this year, it began to expand to neighboring countries with the core of the US market and made more efforts in brand distribution. Ouyang Jun viewed that it was the time for the Chinese enterprises to speed up the export transformation. On the background of economic globalization, the ultimate goal of an enterprise was to become a world and international company. The times of low-cost export for the Chinese enterprises had past and transformation would appear quickly within 2 to 3 years.
