Self-owned brands account for 11% of total exports (6)

In Canton Fair, known as "China's first fair", special brand exhibition area has been established since the 95th Fair where self-owned brand products with independent intellectual property right and high value-added are exhibited. After that, the scale of brand exhibition area in Canton Fair was expanded continuously and the turnover in the self-owned brand exhibition area in the 111th Canton Fair this year accounted for 36.9 percent of the total turnover.

Overseas promotion of self-owned brand products has also been enhanced increasingly. The first Chinese Exported Famous-brand Commodity Fair was held in the US in September 2002. The Fair, with a lot of Chinese exported famous-brand commodities for the first time, received good appraisal from Chinese and foreign participants and caused a sensation in the US society. Up to now, 10 Chinese Exported Famous-brand Commodity Fairs have been held in the US and Europe. The first African Fair of Chinese Exported Famous-brand Commodity was held successfully in Tanzania this July.
