Traditional wedding customs displayed in E China's Zhejiang
According to the local wedding customs in east China's Zhejiang Province, people marry off their daughters with a luxurious dowry, and all members of the wedding procession, who serve to see the bride to her new home, were dressed in red clothes, which expresses the wishes of happiness and auspiciousness.

On Oct. 10, 2022, over 40 performers, all dressed in red costumes, put on a show to make a display of the traditional wedding customs in Zhaxia village, Qiantong township, Ninghai county, Ningbo city, east China's Zhejiang Province.
As the procession moved forward along the road, the bride was seen sitting in the bridal sedan chair, wearing a phoenix coronet and an embroidered vest. Her dowry included articles such as furniture and sewing kits.
