Hans Christian Andersen is admired around the world for his marvelous fairy tales.
“The same story can be told in different ways,” the ambassador said at the inauguration ceremony, “and the new Hans Christian Andersen House will open next year, presenting this genius writer and storyteller to a modern topic.”
“Good fairytales are like mirrors. They allow us to see ourselves and the society when we or society find it relevant to actually look into the mirror,”, said the ambassador.
