Yanling county, Xuchang, central China’s Henan province, has set up a number of poverty-relief workshops and micro-factories in villages where there is a relatively high concentration of poor laborers, helping impoverished people find employment near home by leveraging the resources of local villages and towns.
Local employment training authorities have also boosted targeted skills training for poor households based on the needs of these local workshops and micro-factories.
