Recently, two villages in Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County of Kashgar Prefecture in southwest China’s Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region have been connected to the power grid, and more than 700 herdsmen from 153 households have said goodbye to power shortages. Farmers and herdsmen mostly rely on herding for a living.
