I come from a continent that has received a massive boost from the BRI with the investment of billions of dollars in many African countries to revamp transport infrastructure. I, therefore, hope that we can use this platform to further advance the relationship between China and our continent for mutual benefits. Chinese investment in infrastructure is key to unlocking the continent’s potential, while China is Africa’s friend.
