On the evenings of June 3 and 4, 2018, the 12th graders who will sit for gaokao, or China's College Entrance Exam, study in No. 1 Middle School of Nanchong and No. 11 Middle School of Nanchong. Most of the students who will sit for gaokao this year were born in 2000, so they are called "millennium babies." This is also the first time that post-00s have attended gaokao.
