CHENGDU, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- China's Yang Ruilin claimed the women's 3m springboard title at the Chengdu Universiade here on Sunday.

Having won the women's synchronized 3m springboard already, Yang gave a solid performance in Sunday's competition and led all the way to score 364.05 points after five dives.

Yang's teammate Ouyang Yu also had a stable performance, finishing second with 332.15 points. The bronze medal went to American diver Sophia Verzyl on 316.45 points.

Yang, a Sichuan native, said, "To compete at home makes me a little nervous, but gives me more energy."

"I injured my ankle before the competition, but while standing on the springboard I didn't feel like it affected me that much," added Yang.

With the victory, China has swept all 11 diving golds on offer so far at the ongoing Chengdu Universiade.
