Cherry blossoms have recently been in full bloom in a cherry valley in Yiliang county, Kunming, capital city of southwest China’s Yunnan Province.
From late December to April, 370,000 cherry trees of over 60 varieties burst into blossom in the cherry valley, which covers an area of more than 4,000 mu (266.67 hectares) and is one of the biggest cherry planting bases in Yunnan.
18 years ago, the cherry valley was a barren piece of land. Today, it has become an Instagram-worthy attraction in Kunming city.
