On March 10, the last Fangcang makeshift hospital in the city of Wuhan, the capital of central China’s Hubei province, was closed, marking the shutdown of all the 16 Fangcang makeshift hospitals built for treating novel coronavirus patients with mild symptoms in the city.
These makeshift hospitals, which operated between Feb. 5 and March 10 cured a total of more than 12,000 patients. During the time of operation, there were also numerous heart-touching moments during concerted efforts aimed at fighting the epidemic.
Let’s look back on the warm moments before the closure of the Fangcang Hospitals.
