Vitalii, a Russian young man born in the 1990s, became a teacher at the Manzhouli Campus of the Inner Mongolia University, located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia of China, in September, just as he was always hoping.
The Russian, who now teaches phonetics involving Russian at the department of Russian language and literature, said it was like a dream come true for him.
"I have been interested in China since I was a young child and I even majored in Eastern history during my college days," he said.
After he graduated from college in 2018, he learned Mandarin in east China's Shandong province for 10 months in his ongoing mission to understand the country more deeply.
While working in China, the Russian fellow hopes to learn more about the Chinese culture and help Chinese students further understand his own country by teaching Russian language courses.
