Square dance competition final concludes in Beijing (11)

The final of a square dance competition jointly hosted by People’s Daily Online and Arowana, a famous edible oil brand, with the assistance of womenofchina.cn and womenvoice.cn, concluded on October 31 in Beijing.

The final competition was held in the south square of the National Stadium in Beijing, and witnessed thousands of people, including executives, guests, judges, contestants as well as spectators of the event take part, adding dynamism to the nationwide fitness campaign started in China in recent years.

Officially kicking off during summer, the square dance competition lasted for nearly 5 months and was held in 30 cities across the country. Nearly 3,000 teams participated in the competition, with the number of contestants amounting to 38,982.
