The 7th CISM Military World Games (7th CWG) is currently being held in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province. During the Games, the 7th CWG Athletes' Village, the first of its kind in the history of the Games, provides catering and accommodation services for the participating athletes.
Located in the southeastern bank of Huangjia Lake, in Jiangxia District of Wuhan, the village covers an area of more than 848.7 mu (565,000 square meters) and a total construction area of 558,000 square meters.
A modern Chinese style has been used in its architecture, environmental design, and interior design. Such Chinese elements include the arches, rockeries, waterside pavilions and gallery bridges. The village can provide 10,000 athletes accommodation with 1,958 suites and flats.
When it comes to catering, the athletes' restaurant can provide more than 100 courses of Chinese food, western food and halal food to meet the dietary needs of athletes with different tastes.
Additionally, the village has a medical and health service center, volunteer home, fitness center, commercial service street and so on. It will be open for sale to the public after the Games.
