Hi, I am China: Hengduan Mountains on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

On the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in southwest China, there lies a realm of mountains. Among the mountains there are numerous well-known resorts, such as the Jiuzhaigou National Park, Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area, Lugu Lake, as well as famous tourist cites of Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La. The name of the realm is Hengduan Mountains

Besides its spectacular mountains, Hengduan Mountains is also the best spot, among all mountain ranges in China to enjoy the reflections of snow mountains as there are thousands of alpine lakes in the Hengduan Mountains. Thanks to glaciation many depressions have been formed and are nestled between the mountains which later developed into alpine lakes.
