A museum showcasing the life of Kamba Tibetans opened in Letong town in southwest China’s Sichuan Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture on April 20.
The museum, built in a renovated centuries-old house in traditional Kamba style, features 21 wax models as well as Tibetan medicine, wool knitting apparatus, milking items, furniture, kitchenware and clothing.
The Garze authorities invited designers, experts and model makers from all over the world to help restore the daily scenes of Kamba Tibetans.
Nearly 400 people have visited the museum every day since it opened, said Du Dong, manager of a local travel investment company. (Photo byWang Chuan/people.cn)
