BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Thursday met with Myanmar's State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi, who is here to attend the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
Noting that next year will mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of China-Myanmar diplomatic relationship, Li said China is willing to strengthen political mutual trust with Myanmar, deepen cooperation across the board, and achieve common development.
China is willing to enhance the synergy of development strategies with Myanmar and advance the development of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, Li added.
Aung San Suu Kyi expressed gratitude to China's strong support to the economic and social development of Myanmar, and said Myanmar is willing to advance pragmatic bilateral cooperation for mutually beneficial results.
After the meeting, they witnessed the signing of bilateral cooperation documents.
