China’s first cross-sea bridge built over seismic faults in southern China’s Hainan province opened to traffic Monday. The 5,597-meter-long bridge is expected to cut the drive time between Yanfeng town in Haikou, the capital city of the island province of Hainan, and Puqian town in Wenchang City of Hainan from an hour and a half down to just 20 minutes.
