About 1,336 folk artists from across the country gathered in Majie village, Baofeng County in central China’s Henan province for a folk art fair which kicked off on Feb. 17, 2019.
The Majie Quyi Fair is held each year after the Spring Festival. This year, about 250,000 people visited the fair, and 460 booths were established for the folk artists. The Majie fair has a history of 700 years. In 2012, it was awarded the title of "world’s largest folk art fair" by the World Record Association.
