Annual TAC conference kicks off in Beijing

On Nov. 19, initiated by the China International Publishing Group (CIPG) and the Translators Association of China (TAC), the Commemoration of 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up TAC Conference 2018 and the Language Services: Innovation Development Forum kicked off at the Beijing International Convention Center. Representatives from central state organs along with guests from multi-regional companies, universities and research institutes around the world attended the event.

The TAC meeting is a grand annual convention which has become a platform for exchanges within the national translation community and has received an increase in attention and participation from the international translation community. The successful yearly conference leads the translation community to focus on the overall situation of the Communist Party of China and country in the new era, and better serve global communication and the construction of an international discourse system to promote a positive image of China.
