Snowfall in the coldest town in China

On Oct. 25, it started snowing at 8 p.m. in Huzhong, Daxinganling. As locals left their houses the following morning, they were met with an enchanting snowscape, the snow turning the town into something out of a fairytale.

According to Huzhong District Meteorological Bureau, the snowfall was affected by medium intensity cold air. The local meteorological bureau has already issued a yellow warning for blizzards and icy roads.

Currently, the snow is still falling. Based on the weather forecast, medium to heavy snow will continue over the next three days. Huzhong District Meteorological Bureau has warned residents to pay attention to the cold weather and wear suitable clothes.
