People’s Daily is already 70 years old.
The newspaper was first established in a small village of Pingshan county, north China’s Hebei province on June 15, 1948. 70 years on, it’s no longer just a printed newspaper, today possessing more than 10 media channels including its newspaper and website, and over 400 terminal platforms, which together reach an audience of 786 million.
