French freediver Guillaume Nery dived into the sea off the coast of Nice, South France several days ago and captured beautiful views underwater hands-free with the assistance of ibubble, an autonomous underwater drone, a French local media reported.

Designed by Notilo Plus, based in Grenoble, France, ibubble is the world’s first autonomous and wireless diving drone which can descend to 200 feet (60m), deep enough to cover the maximum depth recommended for recreational divers.

Aiming at scuba diving lovers, the £2000 ($2600) autonomous diving drone is still a prototype currently and will be available in market next summer according to its creator.

With 7 engines, 4 impellers, yellow casing, lens and flash light, the drone is able to automatically follow you and capture high quality images during your underwater adventure.
