
A total of 38 hawksbill sea turtle specimens have been confiscated by border police in the city of Fangchenggang, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, valued up to about $170K in total. The turtle specimens were found in two wooden boxes loaded on a courier vehicle on June 29. The biggest is 60 centimeters long and the smallest is about 30 centimeters.
