July 23, a man with disabled legs climbed to the top of Mount Hua, one of the five great mountains of China. It took him three days and four pairs of gloves to reach the peak.

Twenty-seven-year-old Zhang Ming comes from Yongji, central China’s Shanxi province. His legs became severely deformed because of a serious illness at the age of 8 months.
Since he spends much of his time at home, Zhang used to run an online shop. He is also a fan of music and sometimes would broadcast himself singing.
About 4 years ago, he became a professional livestream broadcaster at the invitation of an online agent.

Zhang decided to climb the mountain as a personal challenge. Starting on the morning of July 21, he broadcast the sunrise on the mountain to his fans every morning.
At around 4:00 pm on July 23, Zhang finally made it to the mountain top. It is evident from the broadcast that every step he took was very difficult. In addition to his friends who helped him climb, his fans encouraged him when watching the video.
“I did not climb the mountain and broadcast to attract attention,” Zhang explained, adding that he just wanted to prove that he is as competent as anybody else.
