Liu Jifu, a man in his 80s, presents a 6.6-meter-long, 81-centimeter-wide papercut design, which he made to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Army. Liu is a senior Party member from Nanchang City, central China's Jiangxi province. It took him more than a month to complete the papercut themed on the Nanchang Uprising, when Chinese Communist armed forces countered anti-communist mass killings by the Kuomintang on Aug. 1, 1927.
