
A farmer works at a fruit and vegetable plot in Kaiyang County, Guizhou province on May 15. A branch of a Taiwanese industrial park was established in the county in November 2015. The plantation, with a core area of 1,500 mu, or 100 hectares, works to develop an industrial chain featuring agriculture and recycling. The plantation, which actively recruits local farmers, is currently staffed by farmers from 86 households, 26 of which are targets for poverty alleviation.
