A tomb complex dating back 1,800 years has been discovered at the Yinxu archaeological site in Anyang, Henan province. Buried in the complex are corpses and artifacts belonging to an ethnic minority group from northern China.
The tomb complex is believed to belong to a nomadic ethnic minority. Some of the items discovered include weapons such as knives, as well as daily staples like pottery jars. There are also accessories including bracelets, mirrors and earrings. The site is believed to have been a major human settlement where different ethnic groups engaged in cultural exchanges.
