Students practice tai chi in the village of Chen in Henan province on April 26. Most modern styles of tai chi can be traced back to one of five traditional schools, all of which originated in Chen. Locals have seized the chance to promote the traditional martial art, as well as create income and boost local tourism by opening a tai chi school. Tai chi was included on China's national intangible cultural heritage list, which was drafted in 2006. (Xinhua)
