Recently, lighting work was completed on the South China Sea Pearl Eco-Island, a man-made tourism hub in Haikou, Hainan province. The crescent-shaped island is envisioned as a tropical ecotourism hub. The venue's land reclamation work is also finished, covering about 3,990 mu (266 hectares) of land and 2,910 mu (194 hectares) of the harbor basin. With the lighting work finished, basic lighting is now available across the island, which has created a charming nighttime vista.
