
Liu Fei, a man from Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region proposed to his girlfriend, Wang Fangfang, in front of a huge meteorite on March 14. Witnessed by a crowd of bystanders, Wang accepted his proposal. The meteorite, weighing 33 tons, cost Liu about 1 million RMB.
Liu met his girlfriend four years ago. During their travels to Kashi last year, Liu found out that a local collector possessed a massive meteorite. Liu took Wang to view it at the collector's home, where he expressed great interest in the stone and asked Wang whether or not she liked it. Wang did, so Liu decided to secretly buy the stone and use it to propose.
