Feb. 27, 2017, the second day of February according to China’s lunar calendar, is an important festival for the Qiang ethnic group living in southwestern China’s Sichuan province. The Qiang people celebrated Guairu Festival by worshiping the god of nature and praying for good fortune. Several activities were also held to exhibit the unique Qiang culture.
