Stone village in Henan balances tourism, tradition

Almost everything in the village of Shichang in Song County, Henan province is made of stone, including the houses, walls, mills, desks and stools. Many of the villagers are talented stonemasons. With the local government leading a tourism development campaign, the original style of the village has been maintained as much as possible, and the stone houses, streets and other surroundings have been protected and renovated.
