
The Smithsonian National Zoological Park in Washington, D.C. is saying goodbye to its beloved giant panda Bao Bao. From Feb. 16 to 20, the zoo will hold a farewell event. On Feb. 21, Bao Bao, now 3 and a half years old, will be moved to her hometown in Chengdu, Sichuan province. Her parents, Tian Tian and Mei Xiang, moved to the U.S. zoo in 2000.
