Many Chinese couples chose to officially register their marriages on Valentine's Day. On Feb. 14, several newlyweds dressed in traditional Chinese wedding costumes registered at a center in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province. Though Valentine's Day is originally a Western festival, the couples hoped their red clothing would bring them luck in the new year.
