
During the recent winter vacation, an estimated 2,000 "zombie" bikes were gathered and parked side by side on the campus of Zhengzhou University in central China's Henan province. The bikes were either broken or malfunctioning, and can only be reclaimed if their owners seek them out, a school security official explained. The bikes will soon be packed up and disposed of, the official said.
