A man named Ling Jihe in Anyi County, Jiangxi province granted a 3.08-million-RMB ($444,156) annual bonus to his employees on Jan. 8.
Having contracted more than 1,200 hectares of cultivated land, Ling distributes the lots among a group of managers. He not only provides each manager with a monthly salary of 5,000 RMB, he also offers a year-end bonus determined by each lot's total output. It is the sixth year that Ling has offered such a bonus.
