Recently, the construction site of Shunhe viaduct in Jinan, Shandong province was covered by more than 100 cotton quilts of various colors, forming a brightly-colored 2,000-square-meter road, according to China News on Jan. 4. It was intended to keep the concrete warm and guarantee its strength despite low temperatures.
