HANOI, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The 10th Vietnam International Trade Fair - Vietnam Expo 2012 - kicked off in southern Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday, attracting domestic and foreign companies from 20 countries and regions, reported local Vietnam Investment Review on Wednesday.
There are more than 300 goods counters displaying groups of commodities, including machines and electronic products, transport vehicles and appliances, interior and exterior decoration equipment, household utensils, etc.
India has 20 goods counters with the country's potential products such as farm product, fine art articles and household utensils. In particular, Indian Ministry of Garment and Textile displayed its unique products including hand bags, jute-made products, food-preserving bags, textile thread, etc.
Meanwhile, South Korea has more than 70 counters, displaying traditional products such as ginseng, cosmetics made from ginseng, food and beverages, food ingredients, sport wear, plastic materials, and cake making moulds.
China attracted visitors' attention with a showcase of two- wheel vehicles, including bicycles, children's bicycles, electric bicycles and accompanied spare parts.
On the sideline of the 4-day expo, various promotion events will be held, including a seminar on the promotion of China's trading two-wheel vehicles in Vietnam, and a meeting between South Korea Gumi businessmen and local investors.
