President Hu visits Guizhou (2)

"We must carry forward the fine tradition of the Zunyi Conference and unswervingly follow the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics to create a more prosperous future for Chinese people and the nation." Hu said.

During his visit to several enterprises in the province, President Hu called for deepened reform in state-run companies and fostering scientific innovations to produce more competitive products.

Accompanied by Guizhou provincial Party chief Zhao Kezhi, President Hu asked local Party and government officials to improve urban lay-out and construction plans to better solve housing problems for people.
