PD Online: In your point of view, how did oriental beauty gain world’s acceptance?
Yu Wenxia: First, I’d like to talk about my understanding of beauty. I think a person is beautiful if he or she has inner beauty regardless the appearance.
On the contrary, a good-looking person is not beautiful if he or she has no inner beauty. We should keep our inner beauty, be a good person, and do good things.
The education we took told us to protect the environment, love animals, and respect the elderly and all people when we were young. I think these are things we should do.
Therefore, as to the oriental beauty, be yourself, and do what I mentioned before. That’s enough.
PD Online: Can you share your secrets of keeping fit?
Yu Wenxia: I seldom try to lose weight. If I eat too much for a certain time, I will eat less after that. I will subconsciously tell myself that I should not get on any weight.
However, to lose weight in a healthy way, I think you must eat breakfast, which is extremely important. Have a timely and regular diet. Skip staple food for dinner, and take vegetables instead.
By doing this, you can keep fit, it’s very easy. Since it’s healthy and regular, people will not get on or lose weight in a short time. Besides, you can also take exercises. Taking a walk or jogging regularly also works.
PD Online:What kind of sports do you like?
Yu Wenxia: I like playing badminton, walking, and jogging. When I have no work in Britain, I will arrange my schedule and take a walk or jog in the neighboring park. I will not run fast. I also like rope skipping. I’d like to take part in all kinds of sports to enrich my life. By the way, I hope I can learn swimming if there is a chance. I cannot swim.
PD Online: Do you surf on the Internet? What kinds of information do you usually view?
Yu Wenxia: Yes. I seldom watch TV; I get information mainly from my mobile phone. I often share my news and pictures with friends through online instant communication tools like microblog.
