An Internet company based in Chengdu said it will have an "end-of-the-world" holiday.

The company's CEO, with the net name Darryn, posted a note about the holiday on his micro blog on Wednesday.

The company said employees will have two days off on Dec 20 and Dec 21.

Some people believe that Dec 21 will be the last day of the world, according to the Mayan calendar, the company said.

"It's better for my employees to spend more time with their parents and partners on the last day of the world," Darryn wrote on his note.
