Dozens of Indochinese gray langurs, a rare primate species under national first-class protection in China, were recently captured on camera foraging and playing among the trees in the Jingdong section of the Wuliang Mountain National Nature Reserve in southwest China's Yunnan Province.
The reserve is one of the key habitats of the Indochinese gray langur. According to the latest survey data, the Jingdong section is now home to more than 3,000 Indochinese gray langurs from 61 families — an increase of over 1,000 individuals and 18 families compared with figures from a decade ago.
