Fuzhou's first outdoor smart gym wins people’s praise

Recently, Fuzhou’s first outdoor smart gym was opened at the Jinshan Sports Center, attracting many local citizens to enjoy the joy of sports outside according to Chinanews.com on Nov. 15, 2019.

At the northwest corner of the sports center, the white ceiling outdoor wisdom gym appears to be very eye-catching. Within the gym, there are two complexes. One is a physical fitness testing area, and the other is an area designated for exercise equipment usage. Of course visitors are free to use all of them.

The physical fitness test area is equipped with a variety of equipment suitable for physical examination including aspects such as body mass index, grip strength, back strength, longitudinal jump capacity and heart rate as well as 10 additional indicators. Furthermore, it is also equipped with step trainers all of which help to conduct corresponding exercises. Moreover, the exercise equipment area also includes back muscle training equipment, sitting rowing equipment, sitting kick equipment, and more.

Lu Gewu, a resident in Fuzhou, said that the outdoor smart gym is very outstanding. "I used to work out indoors but the air was not as good as it was outside. Moreover, this gym does not charge, everyone can experience the joy of fitness and everyone can participate in as well as make the best use of the place,” said Lu.

Workers said that people who come to use this gym just need to open their WeChat on their mobile phone and scan the QR code on the device to see a video to teach people how to utilize the facilities.

On the roof of the gym is a bluetooth speaker, which allows people to play music by connecting their phones to it.

The progressive quality of the outdoor smart gym also adopts two modes of solar power generation and spontaneous power generation. The accumulator will collect and store the excess electricity generated during movement of exercising guests. When the solar energy cannot generate sufficient electricity during severe weather, the accumulator will automatically supply power to the equipment and redistribute electricity through an in-house electrical power supply network, which could save energy and protect the environment.
